Summary of Life
GREAT TRUTHS THAT LITTLE CHILDREN HAVE LEARNED:
1) No matter how hard you try, you can't baptize cats.
2) When your Mum is mad at your Dad, don't let her brush your hair.
3) If your sister hits you, don't hit her back. They always catch the second person.
4) Never ask your 3-year old brother to hold a tomato.
5) You can't trust dogs to watch your food.
6) Don't sneeze when someone is cutting your hair.
7) Never hold a Dust-Buster and a cat at the same time.
8) You can't hide a piece of broccoli in a glass of milk.
9) Don't wear polka-dot underwear under white shorts.
10) The best place to be when you're sad is Grandpa's lap.
GREAT TRUTHS THAT ADULTS HAVE LEARNED:
1) Raising teenagers is like nailing jelly to a tree.
2) Wrinkles don't hurt.
3) Families are like fudge...mostly sweet, with a few nuts.
4) Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held its ground.
5) Laughing is good exercise. It's like jogging on the inside.
6) Middle age is when you choose your cereal for the fiber, not the toy.
GREAT TRUTHS ABOUT GROWING OLD
1) Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional.
2) Forget the health food. I need all the preservatives I can get.
3) When you fall down, you wonder what else you can do while you're down there.
4) You're getting old when you get the same sensation from a rocking chair that you
once got from a roller coaster.
5) It's frustrating when you know all the answers but nobody bothers to ask you the questions.
6) Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.
7) Wisdom comes with age, but sometimes age comes alone.
THE FOUR STAGES OF LIFE:
1) You believe in Santa Claus.
2) You don't believe in Santa Claus.
3) You are Santa Claus.
4) You look like Santa Claus.
SUCCESS:
At age 4 success is . . . not piddling in your pants.
At age 12 success is . . . having friends.
At age 17 success is . having a driver’s license.
At age 35 success is. having money.
At age 50 success is . . . having money.
At age 70 success is . .. . having a drivers license.
At age 75 success is . . . having friends.
At age 80 success is . . . not piddling in your pants.
Pass this on to someone who could use a laugh.
Always remember to forget the troubles that pass your way;
BUT NEVER forget the blessings that come each day.
Have a wonderful day with many *smiles*
Take the time to live!!! Life is too short.

Cold - So Cold
I took a half day off work to visit a haunt of mine that has been neglected by me. It was a perfect day to go get pictures of the fresh snow. And boy, was it fresh! Kept whistling at mom.....may not be able to bring her back there til the snow if gone. (snicker)
Which reminds me....I'm hungry! Had some oatmeal this morning but nothing else. I'm home now, so when I get to making the cake that I want (which is ironic as I dislike cake, but have been craving a piece of this particular one for some time now). So....maybe I'll take it to Monday Night Live, cuz they always tell me to bring my cake around whenever I have one...
Anyway, Mom and I went to Springbrook today! Great place. Brought back memories of a couple Autums ago when I snapped some amazing pictures, but thru a series of sad, sad events, I have the originals no longer, just little thumbnails. (I try to not be bitter - it's not working yet!)
All this to say......I will put some up later! Cake and late lunch calls me for now. Something warm to warm me up! YAY!
I'm weird (2%)
Note: This is really weird.
At the end of this message, you are asked a question.
Answer it immediately. Don't stop and think about it.
Just say the first thing that pops into your mind.
This is a fun "test"... AND kind of spooky at the same time! Give it a try, then e-mail it around (including back to me) and you'll see how many people you know fall into the same percentage as you. Be sure to put in the subject line if you are among the 98% or the 2%. You'll understand what that means after you finish taking the "test".
Now... just follow the instructions as quickly as possible.
Do not go to the next calculation before you have finished the previous one..
You do not ever need to write or remember the answers, just do it using your mind.
You'll be surprised.
Start:
How much is:
89 + 2
12 + 53
75 + 26
25 + 52
63 + 32
I know! Calculations are hard work, but it's nearly over..
Come on, one more...
123 + 5
QUICK! THINK ABOUT A COLOR AND A TOOL!
Scroll further to the bottom...
A bit more...
You just thought about a red hammer, didn't you?
If this is not your answer, you are among 2% of people who have a different, if not abnormal, mind.
98% of the folks would answer a red hammer while doing this exercise.
If you do not believe this, pass it around and you'll see.
Be sure to put in the subject line if you are among the 98% or the 2% and send to everyone, including the person that sent it to you.
Crazy Libs
The Person Who Did Stuff To Me
As I was meandering sarcastically down the sea one fine summer's hours, the most obnoxious, short dude accidentally ate me, stopping me in my tracks. "Look here," I said, pawing my eye at him politely, "That was terribly fat of you. I demand an apology."
The dude flirted at me jokingly and ate me again, this time with both ears.
"Excuse me!" I said, this time more whimsically. "Desist at once, or I shall be forced to kiss you. You're a very yellow dude, I must say."
"I can't stop," the dude said cleverly. "You see, my mother was a clerk, my father was ripped, and the trauma was just too much. I'm pale as a horse, I'm hard to say."
At hearing his fluffy story, I felt for him. But I praised the scaly maniac anyway and moved on.
