Silently Screaming

This may seem petty, but it bugs me:

I HATE MAC!!!!!! For one reason - and pretty much only one...well, two, but they kinda go together.....

1. WHY does the computer (iPhoto) stinkin need THREE COPIES of the SAME stinkin PICTURE?????????????????????

2. WHY ...... I am so upset and AGGRAVATED about this I'm going to cry and I could really use a GOOD SCREAM!!! WHY does there have to be all the stupid hidden files that take up valuable space? They never seem to get deleted (yes, Rick, I empty my trash ALL THE TIME!) and they tell me, for example, on my 512 memory card - I SHOULD be able to fit 3-400 pictures on, but cuz of all the stinkin extra files they copy in there I can't hardly fit 100! THAT SUCKS!!!!!!!! AND CDs!!!!! On my PC I could fit 3x the amount of info on a CD or DVD, but cuz of Mac's stupid extra, hidden, UNWANTED FILES! I need 3x the CDs to fit the same info! SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Other than this (which is even more of a big deal than 'glow').... I have come to really like my Mac.......

So - anyone know anything that can help fix this problem???

Working Semi

So, the switchboard quit at work on Friday. I got to run across the office to answer the phone whenever it rang!! As you can guess - I got ALOT of exercise!!! Today the new consol arrived. yay!!!

I also almost has a run-in with a stupid semi. He decided he didn't want to go straight after all and decided to turn right from the wrong lane. Right in front of me! And then he got mad at me and gave me the finger.....sheesh! Some people. I have been seeing alot of scary drivers lately. It's gotten very un-funny.

Retreating

The retreat was fun. Even if I did have to tent! I was able to stay nice and toasty warm thanks to Marcus (he let me use his tent since him and Katie went home) on the second night, so I actually got some sleep. The views were amazing, the company crazy hilarious and the weather just about perfect! It didn't rain, which was so nice. Janet and I had plans devised for our dry sleeping - in my car!! ;-) They never needed to come to fruitation, thankfully!!

Retreating
This will have all of the pictures - if you feel like wading thru all 825 of them! I deleted over half of them, and I think I did a pretty good job of deleting the ones fit for blackmail. ;-)
Sammy
Sammy is sooooo photogenic, he gets is own set!!!!! There are photos of him playing with the ball, on the tractor, being tired...

Cheerio Pond
A pond with an island in the middle = Cheerio Pond. I don't know if that's official name, but some of the girls called it that and the name stuck - at least with me!
Living Growing
Flowers....moss on trees....mushrooms. For some reason, I was loving all the mushrooms to be snapped....

Katie & Marcus went canoeing and I got some pictures (of course).
Jen & Jack took the paddle boat out, and had a good ride!
Rice Lake is the lake we were 'on'.
People
All the people pictures. If a person has their own set, they will not be in this one. (cough, cough...Sammy...cough). And look! Eric made it to the retreat!!

Fire/Food
Since some food got cooked on fire, I figures these two sets could go together!!

Contemplative Walking
I took some hikes around and about, sometimes alone, sometimes with someone.
Cabin
The cabin was pretty nice. Tons of bunks, some too high. I'm glad I wasn't staying there! Rumors of mice...the view from the window was awesome, tho!!
Baptisms
Jamie and Kristin got baptized Sunday afternoon!
Sunrise/Sunset ;-D Night on Rice Lake. Wow!
Sports
There was frisbee, soccer and volleyball, of which most everyone participated.

Bubbles
There were bubbles from Mark & Heather's wedding that were passed around and had fun with.

Scenes...everything scenic!

Turtle...the kids had a turtle to play with for a while before he went back to Cheerio Pond.
Maple House
Janet and I saw the maple house on a walk! It was pretty neat....

What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas

Well, I just got home from picking Jenni up at the airport after her mini vacation to Vegas. What a fun place!! And what an adventure Jenni had getting home....I bet there will be some funny posts to her blog...when she wakes up!!

Oh - Jenni got me an awesome gift at the M&M Store!!!

Running Wild

So, the switchboard quit at work today. I got to run across the office to answer the phone whenever it rang!! As you can guess - I got ALOT of exercise today!!! We are s'posed to get a new one on Tuesday - when my (brandnew) computer (work, not home) also goes to the chop shop to get an over ahu and all that jazz (the hard drive quit yesterday). What fun!

Off to go camping tomorrow. Maybe after a weekend of rest my internet will start going faster....
