January 21, 1911 to December 14, 2006A wonderful person has passed away today.
99% of my readers will never have heard of him.
His name is Mike Sladek.
He was the coolest person ever!
When I was a kid, after church he'd let the kids come over
(Mike lived next to the church!)
and feed us cookies and chocolate and treats. :-)
I wish I'd gotten over to visit Mike one last time.
He wouldn't remember me, but he was still smiling!
And now, Mike is home with Jesus and his wife Mabel.
